Does my guarantee survive the bankruptcy?

In general, yes.

Production guarantee obligations under Sunnova, SunPower, and PosiGen leases/PPAs were transferred to the current servicing entity through the bankruptcy sale process, not discharged by it. That applies to the majority of outstanding leases and PPAs in the field.

Is there any exception?

A narrow one. A June 2026 Delaware bankruptcy court opinion on a specific motion was dismissed for lack of jurisdiction, without ruling on whether every individual lease was formally assigned before the case was filed. That leaves a small residual question only for leases that were never assigned, to be resolved case by case — it affects a minority of leases, and it isn't something GuaranteeCheck's diagnostic can resolve for you (it's a case-by-case legal question, not a calculation one).

Is this a collections service?

No — it's a self-help tool.

GuaranteeCheck never contacts your servicer, never claims to act on your behalf, and is never a party to your claim. The letter it drafts is written in your own voice, for you to review, sign, and send yourself. That's a deliberate design choice, not a limitation — it sidesteps any question of third-party standing to claim on your behalf.

What if I don't have SolarEdge admin access?

This is common, and there's a fallback.

SolarEdge monitoring requires admin rights on your account, and orphaned-system owners often don't have them — the original installer usually held the admin account, and installer bankruptcy means it typically can't transfer normally. GuaranteeCheck supports a CSV export from your own SolarEdge login where you do have access, and a manual numeric-entry fallback where you don't, so this doesn't block you from running the diagnostic.

What about Enphase?

Enphase systems connect directly through Enphase's own free developer API — you authorize the connection yourself, with no admin-account dependency and no password shared with GuaranteeCheck.

What does GuaranteeCheck Plus include?

Unlimited re-checks, no per-claim fee.

$3.99/month or $29.99/year gets you unlimited diagnostic re-checks, an automatic re-run near your true-up date, and claim-letter generation included with no separate $99 completion fee — worth it if your lease has a recurring true-up period (most do, every 24 months) rather than a one-time check.

Is the reminder/re-check fully automated today?

The plan computes and tracks your next check date. Actual automated email reminders and scheduled re-runs are still being built out — worth knowing if you're deciding between plans right now, not something we want to overstate.

Is my data safe?

What we collect, and why.

Your lease terms (guaranteed production, true-up rate/interval) and your production data (from Enphase or SolarEdge) are used only to run your diagnostic and, if you request one, draft your claim letter. See the Security and Privacy pages for the full breakdown, including the current pre-launch state of payment processing.

Getting started

Is GuaranteeCheck live right now?

The diagnostic engine, true-up calculation, and claim-letter generator are built and tested — but GuaranteeCheck isn't deployed to a live site yet, and there's no real payment processing wired up. Reach out and you'll be among the first to know when it's ready to actually run against your own numbers.

How do I get started once it's live?

You'll tell us your servicer and lease terms, connect Enphase or upload a SolarEdge CSV, and get your result — no account or long form required. See How it works for the full walkthrough.
